
Class Descriptions
Acrobatics​
This fun and challenging class blends strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through acrobatic movement. Dancers will learn a variety of acro skills including rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, and partner work, all taught with a strong focus on safety and proper technique. Class also incorporates conditioning and stretching to support overall skill development and control. A great addition for dancers looking to enhance their athleticism and stage presence! Jazz class is a great pair!!!

Dress Code: Fitted athletic or dancewear is required. No shoes—barefoot only. Hair must be pulled back securely.
Hip Hop​
Our Hip Hop Dance Class for ages 7-9 is an energetic and exciting way for kids to learn popular hip hop moves while also learning the fundamental roots of hip hop dance ! They’ll develop rhythm, coordination, and confidence! They will learn the basics of popping, breaking, locking & footwork.
*Black sneakers dedicated for indoor use only and any style of loose fitting clothing.
Tap​
Our Tap Dance Class for ages 7-9 is a fun, rhythm-based class where kids will learn the basics of tap while improving coordination and musicality. Through energetic steps and exciting routines, children will develop their timing, rhythm, and self-expression—all while making some toe-tapping sounds!
*Black Lace up tap shoe (Bloch full sole recommended)
Jazz​
This energetic class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of jazz dance in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will develop proper technique through structured warm-ups, stretching, and exercises focused on building strength, flexibility, and coordination. Class covers foundational jazz elements such as isolations, basic turns, kicks, leaps, and dynamic footwork, all set to upbeat, age-appropriate music. Students will also learn engaging choreography that encourages performance skills and musicality. Perfect for dancers who love to express themselves and are eager to grow both technically and creatively on stage!
*Skin-Tone Jazz shoes, Tights and fitted clothing.
Ballet​
Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles, focusing on grace, strength, and precise technique. In this class, dancers will build solid fundamentals through barre exercises, center work, and across-the-floor combinations. Emphasis is placed on proper posture, alignment, musicality, and artistry. Dancers will develop flexibility, balance, and control while learning classic ballet vocabulary and movements. Perfect for students seeking to improve technique, discipline, and performance quality in a supportive and structured environment.

Musical Theater​
Step into the spotlight with this high-energy class that blends jazz dance technique with the storytelling and performance style of Broadway musicals. Dancers will learn choreography inspired by popular musical theater productions, focusing on expressive movement, character development, and stage presence. Class includes technique drills, stylized combinations, and tips for connecting movement to music and emotion. Perfect for dancers who love to perform, bring characters to life, and shine on stage with both strong dance skills and theatrical flair!

Strength & Mobility
Our Strength & Mobility Class is designed for dancers who are ready to take their fitness to the next level. This class focuses on building strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing joint mobility through challenging exercises and dynamic movements. Participants will work on advanced techniques to increase functional strength, prevent injury, and boost overall athletic performance in a supportive and motivating environment.
*Fitted clothing, sneaker or barefoot.
Contemporary
This introductory contemporary class is perfect for young dancers ready to explore new ways of moving and expressing themselves. Designed for students already enrolled in ballet or jazz, the class builds on those foundational techniques while introducing flowing movements, floor work, and creative expression unique to contemporary dance. Dancers will learn how to connect emotion to movement, improve flexibility and control, and develop artistry through engaging combinations and improvisation exercises. A wonderful class for dancers eager to expand their skills and discover their own unique style!

Non-performing Tumble
​
This class will work tumbling, strength & flexibility skills. It will not get a costume or perform in any recital. It is skill based only. This class will still be a Sept-May Commitment
